Mimi is not your typical foodie. She is your typical frustrated hobbyist.
She is a frustrated hobbyist who likes to dabble on music and the arts, watch movies on the big screen, stab balls of yawn with a crochet hook, shoot people and flowers with a really nice camera or her phone, and making a mess out of the kitchen. She is bored enough to have enough hobbies, but she does not have enough time. She gets easily distracted during her personal time and often finds herself reading about what she wants to do and ending up never doing it. Ingredients for some nice dishes expire because she forgets about it. She does try to make time on the weekends but not quite soon enough.
This frustrated hobbyist works in the Information Technology industry as an account and server administrator. Recently turned from a vampire back into a normal human, and now a half-human half-vampire, she was not used to being exposed to too much daylight so she enrolled in a web development class to transition from the abnormality. She is crazy enough to work and study each day, while putting in extra hours for overtime, and then complain about not having enough time. She is a workaholic who would volunteer to cover for people who need a break. She prides herself in never missing a day of work and punctuality. She prides herself with her work.
She spends most of her free time on her computer, either browsing on the internet or chatting on some IRC servers and rooms. She is always online as well, on her mobile phone. She likes the idea of being connected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Occasionally, she writes on her blog about her day or her adventures in life as a frustrated hobbyist.
Mimi is rebuilding Pagkain.net after 4 attempts, thanks to the Web Development class she attended. Since she really loves food and snacks, she wants to dedicate a website just for food and snacks in the Philippines. She hopes to have a lot of readers and contributors for this blog, and to have this blog in the top 100 blogs in the Philippines and the go-to site for information on food and snacks in the Philippines.
